IMPORTANT

NEW RULE CHANGES FOR 2009

The leadership of the Cherokee Association of Realtors® has met several times recently to review budgets, school costs, and meeting registration methods, to review their efficiency. In an effort to shore-up some shortfalls we have experienced in the past, the leadership has made the following changes:

Change in Free CE Classes

- There will continue to be 2 free CE classes for dues paid members per year, however, these classes must be selected from the designated Free CE Class that will be offered each month. The entire class schedule for 2009 will soon be posted on the web site, and the class each month that may be selected for free CE will be labeled as such. To clarify, there will be 12 classes set aside to be used for free CE, one per month, and all other classes during the month must be paid for. There will be no substituting.

- All classes, including any free CE must be paid for when you register, and after the class, you will be reimbursed right away for your free CE classes. If you pay for a class, and do not notify us that you will not be there, your class fee will not be refunded, as instructors, materials, etc. may still have to be paid for.

There will be no more billing for those attending events or classes

- We ask that everyone get in the habit of registering for all events, classes, and general meetings in advance so we can properly plan for food needed, materials needed, etc. If you come unregistered, we will try to accommodate you if there is room, food, and/or materials enough for you. You may be asked to wait in “sell-out” situations, until the others have arrived. THERE WILL BE NO BILLING! If you have not pre-registered, you will have to bring the cash, check or credit/debit card with you to get in…no exceptions!

PAY YOUR 2009 DUES ONLINE

Dear Members,

Your 2009 Invoice is now available to view and pay online. This invoice is due October 1^st, 2008. The instructions to pay your dues online appear below:

Go to https://car.getlamps.net/

Click on PAY DUES ONLINE under the Member Services link.

Enter your Username which is your NRDS# and Password usually is your last name.

You will be able to view and pay your invoice online.

Please print a copy of the payment confirmation for your records.

If you have any questions regarding paying your dues online please contact us.
