We are preparing to kick off our second year of the Dollars for Lil’ Scholars program. Our mission is to provide school supplies and other necessary items for the children of Cherokee County. Our goal is to help as many of the elementary schools throughout the year as possible.

The Cherokee Association Staff is asking that you consider donating to this very worthy cause. We will be accepting donations until October 31st, 2008. Donations will be accepted at ALL General Meetings and may be dropped off at the Association Office Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Cash Donations will be accepted and used 100% to purchase the most needed items. The most requested donation items are:

The next Association General Meeting will be at Ryan’s Steak House for breakfast on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 8:30 am. Our special speaker will be State Senator Chip Rogers who will update us on the latest legislative session, and take any questions you may have. At the meeting we will also be kicking off our Dollars for lil’ scholars campaign for 2008, so please bring your donations of school supplies, clothing, or money that will be used to buy these things.
